The Coalition for Black and Brown Ballot Access is a coalition that promotes and protects the right to vote and is composed of Poder Latinx, Equal Ground Education Fund, Hispanic Federation, and Black Voters Matter (Florida). We work together across boundaries to meet the needs of our communities. The Coalition values our people encouraging their full potential to take part in free and fair elections, ensuring that every vote counts by educating voters in the process to include voting by mail and other methods. 

 

Over the past year, our individual organizations have communicated and conducted outreach efforts to black and brown hard to count communities through educational forums, events, social media, phone banking, canvassing and door-to-door contact. Collectively our efforts attempted to reach 400,000 Floridians to ensure they’re counted in the 2020 Census. We have a historic and proven capacity to be the best and most trusted messengers for our communities.
